How do I book a session?

Booking a tutoring session on Teachors takes just a few steps:

  1. Browse tutors from the Find Tutors page and filter by subject, rating, or hourly rate.
  2. Click a tutor's profile to view their availability calendar.
  3. Select your preferred date and time slot, then click Book Session.
  4. Choose your payment method and confirm — your credits are held securely until the session ends.
  5. You'll receive a confirmation notification and a reminder 30 minutes before the session starts.

Sessions can be rescheduled up to 2 hours before the start time without any penalty.

Why was my message blocked?

Teachors includes an anti-bypass safety system that protects both students and tutors by monitoring chat for platform rule violations.

Messages may be blocked if they contain:

  • External contact information (phone numbers, emails, social handles)
  • Requests to move payments off-platform
  • Solicitation of direct bank transfers or cash payments
  • Links to competing tutoring platforms

This policy keeps payments secure and ensures both parties are covered by Teachors's dispute resolution system. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

How long does tutor verification take?

The tutor verification process typically takes 48–72 hours on business days (Monday–Friday).

Our team reviews your:

  • Government-issued ID or passport
  • Academic qualifications and certifications
  • Teaching experience and subject expertise
  • Profile completeness and profile photo

You'll receive an email once your profile is approved. If additional documents are required, we'll reach out to the email on your account.

How do I get a refund?

Teachors's refund policy:

  • Full refund — Cancellation more than 2 hours before session start.
  • Full refund — Tutor no-show (doesn't join within 10 minutes of start time).
  • 50% refund — Cancellation within 2 hours of start (first offence).
  • No refund — Student no-show or cancellation after the session has started.

Refunds are credited back to your Teachors wallet within 1–3 business days. Go to Dashboard → Sessions → [Session] → Request Refund, or submit a ticket below.

When do tutors get paid?

Tutor payouts are processed on two schedules:

  • Weekly — Every Monday for sessions completed the previous week (Mon–Sun). Funds arrive within 1–3 business days via PromptPay or bank transfer.
  • Monthly — Issued on the 1st of each month for tutors who prefer consolidated payments. Minimum payout: ฿500.

Switch your schedule anytime from Dashboard → Earnings → Payout Settings. A 10% platform fee is deducted before payout.

How does the rank system work?

Teachors uses a points-based rank system to reward active and high-quality users. Points are earned by completing sessions, receiving good ratings, and hitting milestones.

  • 🪨 Newbie — 0–99 pts. Getting started!
  • 🥉 Bronze — 100–499 pts. Building momentum.
  • 🥈 Silver — 500–1,499 pts. Consistent performer.
  • 🥇 Gold — 1,500–4,999 pts. Top performer.
  • 💎 Diamond — 5,000–9,999 pts. Elite status.
  • 🏆 Platinum — 10,000+ pts. Teachors legend.

Higher ranks unlock reduced platform fees, priority placement in search results, and exclusive badge frames on your profile.
